Unfortunately, second guitarist Michael Grant has recently left the band to be replaced by former Enuff Z’Nuff man Johnny Monaco, but for now just put this on, open a cold beer, turn it up loud and revel in some proper rock n roll done the way it should be. The current line-up of LA Guns is a strong one and one that faithfully recreates the feel and sound of the band’s past. The DVD of the show also includes extra track “The Bitch is Back” from the band’s debut album. The inclusion of new song “Speed” just goes to show that there is plenty of life left in the reinvigorated band. Including such L.A Guns classics as “Electric Gypsy”, “Sex Action”, “One More Reason”, “Rip and Tear”, “Ballad of Jayne” and “Over The Edge”, the band tear through the set with an energy and passion that you just don’t see in many bands from the sunset strip era these days. Recorded at the 2017 Frontiers Music Festival in Milan (obviously), the set list will be familiar to anybody who has seen the band on this very well received reunion tour. The last two years have been nothing short of stunning for L.A Guns who have breathed new life back into the band and following last year’s “Missing Peace” album, we now have new live album “Made In Milan”.
